Pacto Navio is a small batch single distillery Cuban rum that contains up to ten rum bases; the final blend goes into a 3-month finish in sweet French sauternes wine casks for smooth and unique aromas and flavours. 3 months was the average time for the sailing ships to cross the Atlantic back in the early 19th century. The result is a superb rum of crafted, palatable and sweet character. Pacto Navio is instinctively dark and cuban, with a deep mahogany amber shade and bright reflection. with a nose of toasted fruit and soft flowers, the first taste spreads a honey like sweetness accented with caramel and vanilla, developing into a rich, complex blend of cinnamon, citrus and spices and a subtle, lingering finish of dried fruit.
